In the late 80s and early 90s Cindy Crawford was without a doubt the biggest supermodel in the world. She was dominating the catwalks around the world and appeared on the covers of more magazines than you can count (she's been on more than 600 magazine covers in her career). In the late 80s she hosted House Of Style on MTV, a show that was on the pulse of hipness in it's day, and it certainly helped get Cindy out to a bigger audience. What's is that when Cindy tried to crossover into movies she completely failed. Many models had done it before her, and many have done it since, and Cindy made her attempt in 1995 with the film Fair Game, starring Billy Baldwin. The film was a miserable failure, and Cindy was essentially sent to movie jail forever. We haven't seen her in a big time production since, and I don't see it happening. Regardless, Cindy is a beautiful, sexy woman and still one of the most famous models in the world.
